Steff Veldkamp, is a young visionary about street food and food culture in Amsterdam for many years, since he started working as a chef in restaurants. In 2011 he started his own street food concept, Vleesch Noch Visch and has been recipient of the food truck award. Born and raised in Amsterdam West, he chose his first “steady” location in an area close to Westerpark, the Staatsliedenbuurt. He talks about his ideas and his effort to improve the canteen concept. He believes that he contributes to a better environment by offering more healthy alternatives by  less consumption of meat.
